They also unveiled Twitter 101, a series of Web pages and a downloadable slideshow that explain what Twitter is and how businesses can use it, along with case studies of a few companies that use Twitter. All this would be a very natural lead-in to paid business accounts.
In March 2009 Abrams Research asked 200 social media influencers what tool they’d advise a business to pay for and Twitter was top of the list.
We’re midway on a study of social media involvement at the top 100 companies in 3 categories – entrepreneurs, Inc 500 list and major corporations. So far we’re seeing 17% on Twitter.
