The question came up on the PR student chat on Twitter #PRStudChat this week. (The chat happens once a month.) A student asked whether it&#039;s necessary for PR people to have web and digital skills.

The answer is a very definite yes. 

I had lunch with a young PR Pro this week and she told me that she did a Masters in Communication and PR some years ago and part of the course was digital and web design skills.  It has stood her in good stead in this job market. She got her present job because she had those skills.
